UPPER AND LINING
The upper is mostly composed of synthetic material, with microfiber inserts treated with Spray Rubber technology. This special treatment applies a thin layer of rubber directly to the microfiber using heat and gives wear resistance and protection to the upper.
The synthetic tongue makes the shoe comfortable, soft, and adaptable to all feet while the Bycast toecap cushions impact with rocks and limit abrasion. To complete Thunder WP the water-resistant Trezeta Water Stopper membrane, a 3-layer membrane that repels water infiltration but allows humidity and sweat to escape while allowing the foot to breathe for unmatched climate comfort.
FIT AND LACING
Thunder WP is designed to encourage toddlers to be independent: the low cut allows a quick and easy fit, and the Smart Lace System lacing allows the shoe to be uniformly tightened for a tailored fit. This technology is a great help for young explorers and one less thought for parents who will not have to worry about untied laces.
SOLE BLOCK
The outsole block is composed of a single block of two-tone injected rubber, lightweight yet durable, designed to soften impacts and provide maximum grip on all terrain, in all conditions. The EVA footbed creates a soft, comfortable footing even after hours of walking while the Trezeta Rubber tread ensures stability and traction on any type of terrain.
